Creators of the “Kitchen Table Experience,” we know that whole, healthy, productive women are always growing. What better place to grow than the warmth of the kitchen table—where you can dine, share life stories, garner wisdom, write, gather, listen to great music, paint, and share lots of love & laughter? At 52Love, we take the kitchen table everywhere we go! It’s a lifestyle. Whether you join us for a retreat, "She Shed Saturdays," community education course, or become a member we promise to make every experience feel as intimate as the kitchen table.

52Love is dedicated to illuminating and honoring the brilliance and uniqueness of African American/Black women. The success and wellness of one is interdependent on the others. We understand that a village of supportive, intergenerational women is instrumental to life of the family and the foundation of the village. Just like the farmer plants her crop, nurtures it, waters it, and waits patiently for it to sprout, a village of intergenerational African American women deposits their compassion, love, strength, and wisdom into their families and their village/communities. Then they watch as their deposits yield a fruitful return, their seeds take root and their families and village grow confident, independent, humble, strong, compassionate, and healthy thusly making a positive impact on the city, town, county, state, country and the world at large.

**While we are dedicated to curating safe spaces for African American/Black women our Expand Her Palate & 52Learns are open to all women (unless otherwise noted). Building community also means we value creating true sisterhood with women outside of the community to grow together.**

Cultural Enrichment

The global world is not as broad as it was in the past. In fact, it is right at the tip of our fingers. With a few strokes on a keyboard or a few taps on a cell phone we are able to download any information we want about any people groups or cultures. However, there is no substitution for deepening our understanding of our culture and others' than to engage in it. Art, food, music, books, movies, travel, and having conversations with locals in places we visit are just some of the ways we at 52Love do cultural enrichment.

We travel for connection not just consumption.

Community Education

You should never stop learning. To do so is to stunt your growth. We firmly believe in edification of the mind. Understanding that education is not confined to the classroom, we view every place, conversation, experience, and even a simple walk through our neighborhoods as an opportunity to learn. Our specifically curated courses are designed with culture and community as the foundation. There is so much about us that we are not taught traditionally. Our courses were designed to fill that void.

Self-Care & Wellness

Taking care of one’s own emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual needs is not selfish, it’s a must. In order to ensure your overall well-being, you must invest in yourself. Our various wellness retreats, workshops, self-care tips down to our E-zine are dedicated to you caring for you. This will result in emotional stability, mental acuity, physical agility, spiritual serenity, connectedness, and an overall restored, and peaceful you.

The Kitchen Table Experience

Growing up, the kitchen table was where everything took place. It was magical in its own way. General conversations, intimate conversations, laughter, decisions, safety, information exchange, aspirations, celebrations, and even sadness was shared at the kitchen table. Without fully grasping it, the kitchen table was a place that promoted growth, connectedness, support, and community. We knew we had to share this, so we created our KTE. Join us at one and you’ll be transformed without even noticing.
